href=\"/lhoft?page=topics%2Fpublic-finances\" class=\"wikiLink\" data-target=\"topics/public-finances\">State budget and public finances</a></h3>\n<p>Finance minister Gilles Roth gave the government's reply to the two-day general debate on the 2024 budget bill 8383 and the multiannual financial programming, answered questions from Tom Weidig and Sam Tanson, and the Chamber then debated and adopted the 2022 general account bill 8258 by 60 votes.</p>\n<p>Gilles Roth, Ministre des Finances, stating the government's own economic priorities for the budget:</p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Mir brauchen eng
