\nBill 8365 amending the climate law of 15 December 2020 to transpose the second EU emissions trading system (ETS 2) and the Social Climate Fund and to adapt the Klimabonus aid schemes; déi gréng, supported by Franz Fayot and David Wagner, asked for a separate vote on article 7, which was carried by 35 votes to 5 with 20 abstentions, and the bill was then adopted.

For us one thing is clearly out of the question, and that is what the Prime Minister announced in his state of the nation speech, namely that the revenue from the CO2 tax should be used to finance, let us say, a pension reform.
