\nThe Chamber debated and voted the projet de loi 8460 implementing the EU regulation on instant euro credit transfers, including the obligatory IBAN name check and access of payment institutions to payment systems; the bill was adopted unanimously with 60 votes and the second constitutional vote was waived.
\nLaurent Mosar (CSV), setting out the rule that an instant payment may not cost the client more than an ordinary transfer:

A second measure of this bill is that the cost of such an instant payment for the client may not be higher than for a traditional transfer.

From now on every payment system provider is therefore obliged to offer its clients the option of the instant transfer, and this without it costing more than a normal transfer.
