\nThe Chamber adopted projet de loi 8540, which makes the 40,000-euro Bëllegen Akt tax credit permanent, unanimously with 60 votes, and projet de loi 8547, which extends the housing-package tax measures to reservation contracts registered by 30 June 2025, by 58 votes with 2 abstentions; a déi Lénk motion asking the government to commission a scientific study of the cost and effect of those housing tax measures was debated and put to the vote at the end of the item.

We are now going from 30,000 to 40,000, but I recall that the previous government, and the DP in particular, worked in 2023 for the Bëllegen Akt to go up from 20,000 to 30,000.
