An heure d'actualité requested by the Piraten on the evaluation system in the public service and the 2022 salary accord with the CGFP, in which Marc Goergen tabled three motions: motion 1 asking the government to respect point 10 of the accord was adopted by 41 votes to 15 with 2 abstentions, motion 2 asking to delete article 32 of the 2023 army law was rejected by 55 votes to 3, and motion 3 asking the government to talk with the CGFP was rejected by 35 votes to 16 with 9 abstentions; Marc Goergen then tabled proposition de loi 8378 to delete article 32, and the government had tabled projet de loi 8377 on 25 April 2024 to abolish the evaluation system.
A question élargie by Alexandra Schoos on the promised independent review of the Covid measures, followed by an heure d'actualité requested by déi gréng on the WHO pandemic agreement; at the end François Bausch's motion asking the government to have the Covid measures analysed independently, to publish the analysis, and to consult the Chamber before the WHO accord is adopted was amended by Max Hengel and Alexandra Schoos and adopted unanimously by show of hands.
A question élargie by Dan Biancalana to the minister for home affairs on the announced analysis and evaluation of the 2017 reform of municipal finances, the criteria for distributing the Fonds de dotation globale des communes, and the payments into the Fonds pour l'emploi; the minister answered and Dan Biancalana asked no supplementary question.
Sam Tanson tabled a resolution on the Chamber's transparency register, asking for the evaluation decided in December 2021 and for a reform of the register based on it; the resolution was put on the order of the day at the end of the sitting and adopted unanimously by show of hands.
