The Chamber held the general discussion on bill 7650, which transposes EU directive 2020/1828 and creates a collective redress action for consumers, then adopted the bill unanimously with 60 votes and dispensed with the second constitutional vote, and adopted by show of hands a motion by Stéphanie Weydert asking for an evaluation of the law after five years.

The Chamber held an heure d’actualité requested by déi gréng on the government’s anti-nuclear policy after the EU General Court rejected Austria’s taxonomy action and after Belgium and France extended reactor lifetimes; Joëlle Welfring tabled three motions, on appealing the judgment T-625/22, on raising the nuclear classification at EU level, and on preparing a legal challenge to a Cattenom extension, all three of which were put to the vote.
