2026 state budget (PL8600) and the multiannual financial programming 2025-2029 (PL8601), heard the finance minister reply, and voted the general account for 2024 (PL8556) and then both bills, each with dispensation from the second constitutional vote; it rejected a motion by Taina Bofferding (LSAP) asking the government to work out a strategy on new state revenue, and referred two motions by Franz Fayot (LSAP) to the finance committee.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><a href=\"/lhoft?page=topics%2Ffinancial-centre\" class=\"wikiLink\" data-target=\"topics/financial-centre\">The financial centre and financial regulation</a>\n<ul>\n<li>The Chamber debated and voted the bills granting an annual state dotation of 20 million euro to the CSSF (PL8615) and of 2 million euro to the Commissariat aux assurances (PL8616), after the finance minister promised a further bill in January on the independence of investigations, the ne bis in idem principle, and the payment of sanction income into the reform</a>\n<ul>\n<li>The Chamber debated and voted PL8526, which creates a start-up tax credit of 20% for private investors in young innovative companies with a minimum investment of 10,000 euro per entity; the rapporteur accepted a motion by Sam Tanson asking for an evaluation of the measure, which the Chamber adopted, and the finance minister promised to answer Franz Fayot's motion on widening the scope in committee.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><a href=\"/lhoft?page=topics%2Fdefence\" class=\"wikiLink\" data-target=\"topics/defence\">Defence and security</a>\n<ul>\n<li>The Chamber debated and voted PL8633, which exempts from withholding tax the interest paid on the 150 million euro Defence Bond that the government decided on 6 October 2025 to help finance higher military spending; the Chamber adopted a motion by Franz Fayot asking the government to study comparable bonds for affordable housing and the ecological transition, and déi Lénk voted against the bill.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><a href=\"/lhoft?page=topics%2Fgender-equality\" class=\"wikiLink\" data-target=\"topics/gender-equality\">Gender equality and women’s rights</a>\n<ul>\n<li>As the last item of the sitting the Chamber debated and voted PL8519, which transposes directive (EU) 2022/2381 and sets a target of 33% for the under-represented sex among the directors of listed companies from
