The sittings covered the financing of the general scheme, the investment policy of the Fonds de compensation, the citizens' council proposal, the consultation debate of March 2025, the state of the nation announcement on contribution years, and the pension reform bill 8634 voted in December 2025. The quotes below are taken verbatim from the Compte rendu officiel of each sitting.
\n
CSV
\n
On 18 December 2024, during the budget debate on the state of the pension regime, Marc Spautz argued that the pension system needs action soon.
\n
\n
Wat d’Ofsécherung vun de Pensiounsregimmer ugeet, brauche mir net wäit an d’Zukunft ze kucken, well an e puer Joer schonns d’Depensë méi héich wäerte si wéi d’Recetten.
\n
\n
As for securing the pension schemes, we do not need to look far into the future, because in a few years the spending will the long-term viability of the pension system, Gérard Schockmel proposed to raise
